Why This Model?
You want to see your child get better. You want the experience to mean something. You want sanity back.
Ice Time
Your player will receive up to 3X the amount of practice time per week. A total of 6 to 7 hours per week and north of 170 hours per year.
A standard youth hockey program will get two practice hours per week. An elite program will get get you 3-4 hours per week, but then you get to travel to upstate New York and Boston to play random games, where the only thing your child touches is a seat belt.
Travel
You will only travel to one of two rinks every week. Your child and your family will benefit from a radically reduced travel schedule because we only play exhibition games at our arenas. Our primary focus is local tournaments, until March, where we travel farther afield for tournament experiences.
If you are done spending endless hours in the car, where kids are touching seat belts more than pucks…than our approach may work for you.
Skill Development
We create opportunities for young hockey players to truly improve their overall hockey skills. Our goal is to provide young hockey players with an opportunity to be good not at age 10 but at age 18.
Our approach is based on the model built by Rick Ferroni in Toronto, Ontario, who has based his program on the Swedish Modo and the Russian Red Army models.
